The latest smartphone is now available online in India from Flipkart for Rs. 30999 in Black, White and Silver.

The Xperia SL is power packed with features. It flaunts a scratch-resistant 4.3″ HD Reality touch screen display powered by 1.7 GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 Dual Core processor with 32 GB internal flash memory,  a 12.1 megapixel auto focus camera, supports DLNA and HDMI and is PlayStation Certified.

The yet to be released in India Sony Xperia SL might just get officially released very soon, if we are to believe Sony’s official website which was updated only this morning  with the status of Xperia SL going from COMING SOON to NEW.

We noticed a similar update on the website for the Sony Xperia tipo but the change was reverted back. So this time we ensured that we took a screen capture.

But there seems to be more buzz around the new yet-to-be-released-just-around-the-corner budget phones – Sony Xperia tipo and Sony Xperia tipo dual. Sony is pitching the Sony Xperia tipo as “an Android smartphone made simple”, lets hope they have got it right.
